Merthyr Town faced second placed Kettering tomorrow in their first home game since Boxing Day following the postponed match against Dunstable Town.
Merthyr go into the game having drawn 4 and winning 1 of their last 6 games against the visitors who have won 3 and drawn 1 of their last 6 games. Kettering won the reverse fixture 5-0 back in October and Merthyr will be hoping this game will be much closer.
Jarrad Wright starts the first match of his four match suspension, while Craig Reddy misses the second of his four game ban. Kyle Patten has returned to training but will not be risked after his ankle injury. Lee Price is in the squad having joined the club from Cambrian & Clydach. Lee trained with the club in pre-season and has been registered in time for the game.
The visitors are 1 point behind leaders Kings Lynn Town and will be hoping to win to keep their title hopes alive. Aaron O’Connor is the leading scorer with 20 goals in his 31 games. He will be supported by ex-Newport County striker Renee Howe who has scored 11 in his 35 games.
