Match Day Guide - Frome Town


We welcome Frome Town to Penydarren Park on Saturday afternoon for our Pitching IN Southern League Premier fixture (3pm Kick Off).

The Martyrs will be looking to continue their unbeaten start to the season at home as we face Frome Town in a fixture that was originally scheduled for the 21st December 2024.


Arriving at Penydarren Park

The gates at PP will be open from 12:30 – two hours and a half before kick-off against Frome Town. Supporters are encouraged to arrive in good time, to enter the ground as easily as possible, and arrive ahead of kick-off at 3pm.

Cash and Cardpayments are now being accepted on the Turnstiles at the entrance to the Lyn Jones Grandstand.

Discounted Price - £10 (Included for season ticket holders of Cardiff City, Swansea City, Newport County & Wrexham)

Calling all Welsh EFL Club fans don’t forget that you get the reduced entry of £10 into any Martyrs 2024/25 home league games, on production of a valid 2024/25 Season Ticket for Cardiff City, Swansea City, Newport County or Wrexham.

Please note, card payment is now accepted on Lyn Jones Grandstand Turnstile, as well as cash payments.


Car Parking

There will only be car parking in Penydarren Park for those supporters with reserved parking spaces for the 2024/25 season, as well as a limited number of disabled parking spaces.

Car parking is available in the Castle Street Multi-Story Car Park or College Car Park just a short 5–10-minute walk from the ground. We ask any visitors to the ground to please park respectfully in the local area around Penydarren Park and to respect the residents.


Bar & Food Facilities

Before kick-off tomorrow, you can purchase a range of drinks from both of the club’s bar. Both Romans Bar and Webley's will be open from 12:30pm.

Romans Bar will be closed after half-time due to a private function in the evening.

Holveys Café will be open from 2pm serving hot food, including the famous cob and chips.


Club Shop

Pay a visit to the Merthyr Town Club Shop and purchase our replica kits, leisurewear, and accessories. The store will be opening its doors from 2pm, giving Martyr's fans plenty of time to visit before entering PP!


50/50 Tickets & Match-day Programme

Our usual 50/50 tickets will be available to purchase around the ground on Saturday at just £1. The draw will be made at half-time, with the winner being announced by our match-day announcer.

Pick up a copy of our match-day programme at just £2. The programmes will be on sale around the ground prior to kick-off.

One To Watch

Former Martyr, Curtis Jemmett-Hutson, is now with the Somerset side, and will prove a threat in attack for the Robins. Curtis is fresh off grabbing the equaliser in Frome’s 2-2 draw with Walton & Hersham on Tuesday evening.


Mascots & Flag Bearers

We welcome the children from Treharris Athletic Western U10s who are our match-day mascots for Saturday’s game and will be leading the Martyrs out at Penydarren Park ahead of the game.
