Match Day Guide - Harrow Borough

We welcome Harrow Borough to Penydarren Park on Saturday afternoon in the Pitching IN Southern League Premier for the final game of the season (3pm Kick Off).
It is simply a MUST WIN for The Martyrs, and everyone will be praying that elsewhere in the league Hayes & Yeading can beat Bracknell Town which will see The Martyrs finish in that final play-off spot. All the information below, including admission prices, keeps you in the know for all the events happening around the ground on Saturday afternoon.
Arriving at Penydarren Park
The gates at PP will be open from 12:30 – two hours and a half before kick-off against Hendon. Supporters are encouraged to arrive in good time, to enter the ground as easily as possible, and arrive ahead of kick-off at 3pm.
We suggest arriving at the ground 15-30 minutes earlier than you usually do, as a bumper crowd is expected at Penydarren Park!
Cash and Card payments are now being accepted on the Turnstiles at the entrance to the Lyn Jones Grandstand.

Adults - £12
Concessions - £9
Discounted Price - £9 (Included for season ticket holders of Cardiff City, Swansea City, Newport County & Wrexham)
Children (U16) - £2
Calling all Welsh EFL Club fans don’t forget that you get the reduced entry of £9 into any Martyrs home league games, on production of a valid 2023/24 Season Ticket for Cardiff City, Swansea City, Newport County or Wrexham.
There are no pre-sale tickets for the game with all payments ONLY on the gate. However, card payment is now accepted on Lyn Jones Grandstand Turnstile, as well as cash payments.
Car Parking
Limited parking at the ground will be available and the car park will probably be closed early, so please respect the local residents and find a convenient parking space in the town centre car park (multi-story) or College car park both just a few minutes’ walk from the ground.
Bar & Food Facilities
Before kick-off tomorrow, you can purchase a range of drinks from both of the club’s bar. Both Romans Bar and Webley's will be open from 12:30pm. There will be Live Premier League Football from 12:30 with West Ham United -v- Liverpool Live on the Big Screen in Romans, and all the TV’s in Webley’s Bar.
We will also have a CAN BAR situated near the Theatre End terracing within the ground, serving refreshments and drinks throughout the game!
Holveys Café will be open from 2pm serving hot food, including the famous cob and chips. We will also have MogsyBelle Ice Cream joining us for the game, and their van will be positioned in the top end of the ground – servings Ice Cream and other sweet treats!
Club Shop
Pay a visit to the Merthyr Town Club Shop and purchase our replica kits, leisurewear, and accessories. The store will be opening its doors from 2pm, giving Martyr's fans plenty of time to visit before entering PP!
There is an End of Season Sale on all our Replica Shirts in our Club Shop, with £10 off all shirts – so be sure to grab an end of season bargain!
50/50 Tickets & Match-day Programme
Our usual 50/50 tickets will be available to purchase around the ground on Saturday at just £1. The draw will be made at half-time, with the winner being announced by our match-day announcer.
Pick up a copy of our match-day programme at just £2. The programmes will be on sale around the ground prior to kick-off.
LIVE MUSIC
Straight after the game in Romans Bar we will have Live Music from ‘The Versions’, performing all your favourite hits from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Entry is £2, and you can Pay on the Door – so be sure to stick around to end the season with a sing-song!
End of Season Player Shirt Raffle
Supporters will be able to purchase raffle tickets from various sellers around the ground where two lucky winners will win either Tom Handley’s or Nick Rhodes’ match worn shirts from this season signed by the whole squad. Tickets are £2 each, and the winner will be drawn at Half Time of the game against Harrow Borough!

The Martyrs are currently sitting 6thin the League table needing a win and hoping for results to go our way elsewhere to finish in the play-offs. Saturday’s opponents, sadly already relegated, sit in 21stplace.
Previous Result
Earlier this season, The Martyrs travelled to Harrow Borough in mid-November, with the Martyrs winning 2-1 thanks to goals from Lewis Powell and Ricardo Rees.

Players from our Academy will walk around the pitch during the half time interval so please show your apreciation for thier efforts this season,
Mascots
We welcome the children from Heolgerrig Red Lion Cubs who are our matchday mascots for Saturday’s game and will be leading the Martyrs out at Penydarren Park ahead of the game. We also welcome over 250 children from a number of local Mini & Junior clubs to Penydarren Park this afternoon, as we look to continue the relationship between the club and local football. We hope everyone has a great day at the club!
