Match Day Guide - Marlow

We welcome Marlow to Penydarren Park on Saturday afternoon for our Pitching IN Southern League Premier fixture (3pm Kick Off).
The Martyrs will be seeking to continue their unbeaten home start to the season following five wins and one draw in our opening six home league games. After winning promotion via the Isthmian League South Central play-offs last season, visitorsMarlow have found their start to the season a difficult one.
Arriving at Penydarren Park
The gates at PP will be open from 12:30pm– two and a half hours before kick-off against Marlow. Supporters are encouraged to arrive in good time in order to enter the ground as easily as possible, and arrive well ahead of kick-off at 3pm.

Cash and Cardpayments are now being accepted on the Turnstiles at the entrance to the Lyn Jones Grandstand.

Calling fans of all Welsh EFL Club don’t forget that you get the reduced entry of £10 into any Martyrs 2024/25 home league games, on production of a valid 2024/25 Season Ticket for Cardiff City, Swansea City, Newport County or Wrexham.
Car Parking
There will only be car parking in Penydarren Park for those supporters with reserved parking spaces for the 2024/25 season, as well as a limited number of disabled parking spaces.
Car parking is available in the Castle Street Multi-Story Car Park or College Car Park just a short 5–10-minute walk from the ground. We ask any visitors to the ground to please park respectfully in the local area around Penydarren Park and to respect the residents.
Bar & Food Facilities
Before kick-off tomorrow, you can purchase a range of drinks from both of the club’s bars. Both Romans Bar and Webley'swill be open from 12:30pm.
Holveys Café will be open from 2pm serving hot food, including the famous cob and chips.
Live Premier League Action
Ahead of the Martyrs game, join us for Live Premier League action as Tottenham Hotspur face West Ham United (12:30 Kick Off) – the game will be shown in both Webleys and Romans bar.
Club Shop
Pay a visit to the Merthyr Town Club Shop and purchase our replica kits, leisurewear, and accessories. The store will be opening its doors from 2pm, giving Martyr's fans plenty of time to visit before entering PP!
50/50 Tickets & Matchday Programme
Our usual 50/50 tickets will be available to purchase around the ground on Saturday at just £1. The draw will be made at half-time, with the winner being announced by our match-day announcer.
Pick up a copy of our match-day programme at just £2. The programmes will be on sale around the ground prior to kick-off.

Tall, left footed midfielder, Harry Hoath will be one to watch for Marlow. The goal scoring midfielder has already netted a few times since joining the Buckinghamshire based side in September 2024. Harry has also featured for Uxbridge, Thatcham and Maidenhead.
Minutes Silence
Ahead of Kick Off on Saturday we will be holding a minute’s silence, as Monday 21stOctober marks 58 years since the Aberfan Disaster happened in our town. With Saturday’s game being our closest to the anniversary of that tragic event, a minutes silence will be held, and the Martyrs players will be wearing Black Armbands, as we remember those who sadly lost their lives that day.
Mascots & Flag Bearers
We welcome the children from Baili Glas AFC Girls who are our match-day mascots for Saturday’s game and will be walking out with the players at Penydarren Park ahead of the game. We also have mascot, Jake Milton, leading out the Martyrs against Marlow.
