Form Guide (League Only)

Merthyr Town –  W D W W L

Wimborne Town – W D L W L

The Martyrs will be hoping to maintain their unbeaten home record so far this season going into this fixture, after a draw and a win at home in the last week.

A key player for Wimborne this afternoon will be Cameron Munn. The exciting young striker was previously with Hamworthy United, and worked under the Wimborne manger, Tim Sills, during his time in charge at Hamworthy. The striker has netted 5 times in the league so far this season and will prove a test to the Martyrs backline.

Previous Result

The last meeting with Wimborne Town was in March 2022 at Penydarren Park, when goals from Luke Cummings and Lewis Powell were enough to see The Martyrs secure a 2-0 victory.

Mascots & Flag Bearers

We welcome the children from Abercarn United U7’s who are our match-day mascots for Saturday’s game and will be leading the Martyrs out at Penydarren Park ahead of the game.
