Merthyr Town Football Club is excited to announce the re-signing of experienced midfielder, Matthew Harris.
Harris, who made 309 appearances for his hometown club, spent the last two seasons at Cymru Premier side Penybont FC, before re-joining his former teammate Dean Clarke at Penydarren Park this summer.
After signing the deal, Harris said: "I'm really excited to be back at the football club. Obviously, for family reasons, I needed to be closer to home, but i'm really excited to be back and be apart of our new venture. "
Manager Dean Clarke added: "I'm delighted to welcome Mattty back to the Football Club. He his a very versatile player who will give us a lot of different options come the start of this season. He is a talented individual whose experience will be invaluable going forward. "
